Taltor walked calmly among the many pines, her simple long sleeved top and combat trousers not saying much about her, infact they said nothing. Her face remained emotionless as she moved, a very strange bird on her shoulder. She saw a old wooden bench and chose to sit down, lost in thought, odd she had, had everything, a mother a father, her throut caught, no she told herself don't think about her. Her was her twin sister the twin that had been assassinated. She wondered why, as she had done since her death, ten years ago, ever since things had gone horribly wrong.
She looked up at the sky, crimson as th sun set, she would have once enjoyed the effect, now it just looked like a colours. How long had it been since she had last smiled? Not even she could remember. But she could guess, before her sister went missing before she was cursed with her power, her gift some called it then why did they stay away? Why didn't they come and talk to her like a normal human? Strangly it didn't make her angry she never got angry, she used to feel greife now lost, alone with no will to live, but even her wish to die eluded her, she had not the courage and was too easily controlled.

The young man ambled through the forest, quickly becoming annoyed. Twigs cracked under his feet as he tried his best to escape their grasps. Other larger branches began to cling onto his ivory wings, and it hurt when he pulled out from them. He stopped for a moment, closing his brown eyes and focusing his mind. Instantly, his wings vanished. They were still there, but no longer visible. That, and invincible, so the branches could no longer get caught on them. It was a pain to have to do this in the first place, for it took a lot of strength to keep his wings hidden. He put his hands in the pockets of his brown leather jacket, growing tired and even more annoyed. But finally, his anger was diminished as the sunset hit his eyes.
The pastels of color that ran through the sky were baffling, and were even calming enough to keep Kilowen silent. He just stood there, staring up at them with a smile spread across his face. But then, he noticed something he hadn’t noticed before. Only yards from him was a bench, and a girl was seated there. He sighed once he realized she didn’t know he was here, since he was facing her back. She seemed peaceful, just sitting there. And he could easily assume she was human, because there was a bird perched on her shoulder. Humans scared him very much, ever since the day they slaughtered both him and his brother. But Kilowen knew that not all humans were like the ones that delivered death to him. With a confident step in his stride, he began to walk onward, making sure to keep his wings hidden before he knew what kind of human she was. He stood beside the bench, looking at the girl. “Uh, hey there…” His voice wasn’t shy; it was just normal. He just didn’t know what to say, for those were the first words he had said to another person since he was put back on earth.

Taltor heard rustling a but didn't turn just anoutehr human, to egnore and ridicule her. But she turned her power of emotions working overtime she felt teror, sadness, anger and fear, fear? That was no new stor but the stramge thing was their was nothing there. Just invisible nothingness, she calmed down, that was when she heard the voice, cool and calm yet hesitent and seemigly nervous, her eyes looked around for she saw nothing, she heard the breathing of a person, but saw no-one. She then guessed a ghost, angel? She didn't know it could be either, and it could be a freindly or a not freindly one.
"Whoes there?"
She said her tone expressionless as it had been since she had first got her powers and learned how to control them proapally, she then remembered that you could see some ghosts and other spiritial beings by squinting or looking at them through the corner of your eye, she paused before she did it wondering what she would see if she did, a skeleton? Angel? Or a human that had been genetically changed?

He smiled warmly, having to supress laughs at the human. He allowed his great, white wings to spread, knowing now that she could not see them. This felt so strange, that he was almost invisible to her, for he was no longer alive. It was so strange, for only a short time ago he would've been able to actually talk and interact with people. Now, he was only a wandering soul, barely able to even remain on this earth. It sadenned him almost, to not be able to be seen. At this moment he felt almost alone, despite his knowing that there were other angels.
He walked around the bench and sat on the other end, far from the girl. His brown eyes only stared up at the sky, his breathing slow and easy. "Why, I be here." He replied in a slightly amussed voice. What a joy it must be to be human. They had bodies that could be seen by others. They could also make conversation without scaring the living daylights out of people. For this Kilowen was jealous. But he did have that opportunity once, and unfortunetly it had been taken away from him. But why? That same question always popped up in his mind. Why was he killed? He didn't mean to be boasting, but he thought he had lead a very good life. He didn't deserve to die. The only reason he had died in the first place was because he was trying to protect his brother from being slaughtered. He returned his attention to the girl. "My name is Kilowen, and you?"

Taltor looked away and around the clearing listening intently to what the angel or whatever it was had to say. She paused at its question, it had laughed she had heard it, it sounded human,
Oh it was once human, he is now a angel, you are unable to see him but I can, he is sitting on the other side of the bench.
said Pyro in her head. She looked at him and nodded before turning to squint in the place where she thought he might be, she thought she saw something for a second but then it was gone, she desisded to at least tell it her name,
"I'm called Taltor,"
Its a boy not a it corrected Pyro, Taltor, nodded again her tone expressionless she senced, joy then sadness, jealesey, jealesey, she doubted anyone could be jealos of her? This curse made her whole life different it made her always aware of everything, she couldn't sleep and she eat very little. She looked again at the far side of the bench and waited, hands rested comptably on her lap.

Kilowen sighed, leaning back on the bench. He put his elbows on the top of the wood, tilting his head back comfortably. He let his dark brown eyes stare directly into the sun, staring into the whitest part of the large orb. He smiled to himself, not feeling any tears. To his bewilderment he could not feel any pain. It was amazing that he could do such a thing. When he was younger, he and his brother used to see who could stare into the sun the longest without crying. Now, he would surely win. If only his brother were here to join him. He blinked twice as the girl spoke again. ‘Taltor,’ he thought to himself, smiling widely. “Taltor, that’s a nice name.” He let out another long breathe before turning his head, so his eyes were no longer facing the sun.
The bird sitting on her shoulder caught his attention again. It wasn’t a normal bird, for he had never seen anything like that one around the sky. It also seemed to have some sort of magical property to it. He squinted, focusing on the bird. But he still couldn’t place his finger on it. He sighed, rubbing his chin with one of his hands. “That bird… what kind of bird is it?” He was lucky that this girl wasn’t afraid of him. The last thing he wanted was for someone to run off into town, telling everyone of some crazy spirit. Even if they couldn’t see him, he knew there were physics out there that could easily catch him. He wasn’t a criminal, and most certainly didn’t wish to be captured like one.

Taltor looked at the spot where he was closely and frowned she had not been told her name was 'nice' for a long time. She glanced at Pyro, then she heard him ask what he was, the truth was she didn't really knowa lot about him, only thathe was some sort of Phenix trapped on this earth, bound to her. She had found him around the same time her powers had shown themselves. She desided on how best to answer the question, she surposed, she should tell him what Pyro was, but then again what was he really. That is of no immedite concern said Pyro in her head, he wasn't looking at her for a change and was staring at the spirit through unblinking eyes, she surposed she would never know so she simply said,
"Pyro? Some breed of Phenix, but I don't really know too much about him"
She thought of the angel to be this way he must have died at some point in time, maybe he had only just died that would show why he was still talking to humans and not choosing to haunt humans which didn't have powers, or Pyro. She glanced around how long had it been sinch she had found Pyro? 9 years, 11 months 3 weeks said Pyro as usual making sure he got it exactly right, she nodded glumly and realised that was almost to the day the day she had lost her sister, these things weren't conincidence, they were linked but how? Was it her powers fault or, she thought with creeping dread her fault?
